Introductory undergraduate course
Overview:
An introduction to quantitative analysis and modeling in biology. Topics include chemical kinetics, predator-prey dynamics, population genetics, biostatistics, and reaction-diffusion models. Computational work will be done in Matlab.

Theoretical Ecology
Advanced undergraduate and graduate course
Overview:
An advanced introduction to modeling and analysis of ecological systems. Techniques will be developed in the context of applications. Theoretical concepts to be covered include mean field analysis, spatial models, delay equations, adaptive dynamics, game theory, metapopulation models, scaling theory.
