Gabriel Mitchell defends his PhD on enzymatic lysis
Gabriel Mitchell has successfully defended his PhD thesis on "Quantifying enzymatic lysis in Gram-positive bacteria" on July 22, 2013. Gabriel received a MS in Physics and PhD in Biology from Georgia Tech. Here is a sample of Gabriel's PhD work:
- Quantifying enzymatic lysis: estimating the combined effects of chemistry, physiology and physics. Physical Biology (2010)
- Critical cell wall hole size for lysis in Gram-positive bacteria. Journal of the Royal Society Interface (2013)
Gabriel is currently a postdoc in Gasper Tkacik's group at IST-Austria.
